Dennis Hopper
Dennis Hopper dies at age 74. Not a music star maybe but Easy Rider is near enough! This was Dennis in 2005 at Alice Cooper's Golf Tournament in Scottsdale. Dennis was also a great photographer, check out his photo on the cover of the Ike & Tina Turner classic River Deep Album.

Alex Chilton of Box Tops and Big Sky dies at 59
Singer and guitarist Alex Chilton, known for his influential work with bands the Box Tops and Big Star, has died. He was 59. Chilton's longtime friend John Fry says that Chilton died Wednesday at a hospital in New Orleans after experiencing what appeared to be heart problems.

Jim Carroll, the poet and punk rocker who wrote "The Basketball Diaries," died Friday. He was 60.
He died from a heart attack at his home in Manhattan.

Gordon Waller (on right) of Peter and Gordon passed away on the 17th at a hopital near his home in Connecticut. Peter & Gordon were one of the original British Invasion acts along with the Beatles.

David Carradine - Actor and Musician- Dies in Bangkok

David Carradine, who became a TV icon in the early 1970s starring as an enigmatic Buddhist monk with a flair for martial arts in "Kung Fu" and more recently played the head of a group of assassins in the "Kill Bill" movies, has been found dead in Bangkok, Thailand. He was 72.

Dave Dee dies at age 67

Dave Dee, lead singer of Dave Dee, Dozy, Beaky, Mick & Tich died today at age 67. Dave was one of the friendliest of the English pop stars. He also did a stint as an A&R man at UK Warners, but hat in the past years been back performing with the reformed group.
